import data from fxcm broker is different from fxcm mt4?

hi when connecting to the workspace with fxm broker i see the data is different from fxcm mt4 .is there any time setting that i should do or is there any setting i should also do about the time of motivewave software?

Hi joan,

It seems that you are running version 4 of our software. Our latest version 6 does allow you to change the bar build method from the Configure > Preferences > Historical Data > General menu.

Also, the data coming from the FXCM API (which we use) can slightly differ from the data coming from MT4 so this must also be taken into account.

Is it possible to utilise MT4 data for MW...? buying a dedicated data to run both softwares is bit expensive in long run...pl advice

Hi lutaMW,

We cannot connect to MT4 for data. If you're able to export the data in CSV or ASCII you could import it into MotiveWave. Depending on your trading style this may or may not work for you.

Cool... I have recently purchased ( im using it ) a application (NADF Pro) which pulls data from Nest terminal to run Amibroker , the data is in ASCII format, could you please advice on how do I pull data to MW...
