I would like to add a cumulative NYSE/NASDAQ advance-decline plot overlayed on a SPY/ES or QQQ/NQ chart.
Currently, the charted data from my provider looks like this:
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$NYAD
I was going to write a study to accumulate this data (ie add/subtract the current value to the close of the previous bar) to make it useful and look more like a price chart:
https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/gallery.html?$NYAD
I believe writing the above study is possible. How would I then go about overlaying this advance-decline line on a price plot of SPY/ES or QQQ/NQ? Is there a way to chart multiple instruments on the same price plot? How would I also ensure the advance-decline line scaled to the price axis of SPY/ES or QQQ/NQ.
