Open positions not listed when using IB Gateway

When connecting throught the Interactive Brokers Gateway, no positions are listed.

Works fine when connecting through IB Trader Workstation.

Anyone have this problem? Is this an issue with MotiveWave or the IB Gateway (i.e. is there a setting that needs to be changed)?

What is the purpose of using IB gateway if TWS works?

I use TWS and I have many abnormalities as one mentioned here and I don't know if this is the Motivewave Ultimate or the IB TWS? I have a clean installation of both on fresh windows installation and lots of issues like these happening for me in order, one by one. Before solving one issue, another one occurs?

Is the IB TWS have issues like Motivewave Ultimate r this is the Motivewave Ultimate that creates the issues?

Despite I like Motivewave Ultimate, I have other platforms within them, there aren't this many issues connecting to IB TWS. I don't know why?
