The latest JavaFx 25 EA added the Apple's Metal support. The previous versions support only OpenCL. I'm testing the JavaFX 25EA with MW 6.9.11 and it is working fine so far.



One can see the prism order in the pipeline: mtl is first.

I did not notice any significant improvements performance wise. However, it is not ready for the prime time, from time to time I noticed glitches in a form of graphical artifacts on the charts.

Now, jdk24 and javafx 24 are officially out. This tandem seems stable with no issues so far. Running the latest MW.
