IB no data feed

hey there,

i browsed the forum for a while now but couldn't find a specific answer to this.

i subscribed to these market data (jpg) with IB recently.

when i open TWS i can see all the stocks i wanna see, but this example is about the stock LODE.

when i login to MW afterwards and try to open up LODE i get this message.

i called the IB support to make sure the subscription is right, according to them everything is in order.

any idea how to resolve this?

Try checking the version of TWS you're using. They have three: Stable, Latest and Beta.

As far as I know, MotiveWave is only tested and proven to work with the Stable version.

When you interact with MW Tech Support, confirm the actual numbered version you're using for TWS to be sure you're talking apples to apples.

i found the culprit. it's not version related (running the latest, bot TWS and MW).
in TWS > settings > API you gotta enter a trusted IP at the bottom of the page, otherwise the market data is not routed correctly.
MW will find the ticker, but not receive the actual data.
