How to apply strategy to multiple instruments?

I have been looking in the guides and online for this answer. I think you can link templates of studies to multiple chart/instruments but this cannot be done to a strategy. So how does one accomplish to have one strategy to work with multiple instruments? It looks like you cannot apply a strategy to a watchlist of instruments you select neither. Thanks
