Historical Playback Tick Forward Jumping Forward on Daily

Does anybody have an issue where if you tick forward playback on old data it is very smooth updating the intraday ticks when you are on a daily candle size but if you do more recent data or something like MES it doesn't tick forward on the daily properly? It jumps all over the place like 3 times or so or sometimes will go to the next daily candle even when you are selecting tick forward. It also doesn't allow you to use a lower time chart and have a higher time chart in the window because it doesn't update the daily.

Is this a bug that needs to be corrected? Is there a known way to correct this?
