Motivewave supposedly supports Gann analysis but doesn't seem to support proper chart building parameters to do the analysis with. To plot a weekly or monthly gann chart I need to be able to combine same month futures contract in a continuous form, with a rollover to the same contract of the next year on the day current contract expires, with no price adjustments. Am I missing something? Is it possible to accomplish this in motivewave? I have data I can import, properly configured, going back a very long way. Is it possible to add data to the imported data as the set I have ends in March 2021. Every time I try to have the historical data I imported updated it simply erases it and replaces it with IB data that is not properly configured to use Gann angles or analysis and doesn't go back to 1968, where my historical data starts.
