Adding custom sound files to Motivewave

Has anyone successfully added custom sounds to Motivewave, beyond the stock Windows media files?

I've copied the WAV files into C:\Windows\Media, and Motivewave can see the files but won't actually play them. In the preferences dialog, I can see and select a new file, but clicking "Play" doesn't play the file. My guess is a file permissions issue. I've also tried reading the files from another folder with no luck.

Yes I use custom sounds in a lot of areas of MotiveWave.... Alerts, orders being filled, different sounds for different studies, etc...

Attached is the file I use for an alert - So I know MotiveWave will play it properly.

You can try and set up an alert and point it to this file for testing.... FWIW - I have my own "Sounds" folder so it doesn't need to be in a specific folder.
