I have the same problem. But i am stuck in version 6.6.10 because my support did run out.
Is there a manual work around?

From IB Support i got the answer the historical data is requested and provided to Motivewave as the data log api file shows.
It seems to be a minor problem between IB and Motivewave.

Sure i could switch my stock data to dxfeed but that is a solution with over 30 Bucks per month more.

update your support with MW...
That's what I did.
The MW update is cheaper than the 30 bucks a month with dxfeed.....

You are right. The MW update is cheaper. I have bought it just now.

Thanks for suggestion.

Many benefits to keeping your trading software up to date.
If you can't afford that maybe you should;ld reconsider trading...
Losses can be detrimental to your well being.
I know I have made many mistakes in the past and it can make one question their sanity...lol
Trading can be the ultimate masochism.

That is so true.
It is so bad to make a mistake again, as if looking from third party side and seeing the hard earned Bucks flowing away.

It is real easy to save you to death if the trading software is not updated.
I set in into perspektive, that it is only half the result of the day trading of the last day, so updating is a must have.

Here is a little something that helped me a lot.
It's about 25 minutes long.
ignore the few sales pitches. That's not what this vid is about.
I am not affiliated with them so don't worry about that either.
Watch it several times till you get the message.

Then this spreadsheet will make sense to you.
All you need is to make 1 or 2 good trades per day...
The profit comes from size. You don't need to hit it out of the park every time to make good money.
