Can you point me in the right direction for putting together a scan for candlestick patterns? Can we search for single candle patterns? Such as a Hammer or Doji, Engulfing ...etc etc? I can't seem to figure that scan out with the options I am seeing ... thanks.

We don't currently have the option to scan for candle patterns. As of right now you can only scan for Elliott Wave, Harmonic or certain conditions for some studies. We can add your name to the feature request list for this feature. It has been requested by other users.

The trouble is they seem to have no documentation with this. I am trying to set up a scan for candlesticks and cannot figure it out. Anyone know how to do it?

Hi, maybe my replay is coming a bit later but in case you want to use the scanner for candle patterns this would be one way to do it for example Bullish Engulfing.

Is there any plan for candle stick pattern recognition study. i am looking for inside bar candle stick recognition pattern. MOtivewave is lagging big time in this matter

Thank you for this, but my work suggests that this candlestick pattern has no real consistency that can be counted on to provide decent trading signals. Yes, it can tell you when a BEP candle appears, but the indicator in the library does that anyway, so if that's all that is wanted, then it is available in said library.

I mean the option to scan for a particular Candle type Viz. Hammer/shooting/engulfs/LL/HH et. al.
